Dead Horse Cider began on a farm along the Dead Horse Creek in southern Manitoba, where an apple press bought for the farm turned into fresh pressed juice, and eventually into cider. Founder Marcus released the first hard cider in 2018, and in 2020 Certified Sommelier Matthew returned home to Manitoba and joined the team. Today Marcus and Matthew, alongside friends and family, run an award winning cidery built on hardworking ambition and a love of good company.
