Leitz Eins Zwei 0.5 - Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir - Germany

An (almost) real red wine experience without the alcohol. Intense red berry fruit rises from the glass and offers juicy cherry aromas on the palate. A very harmonious red wine alternative with nuances of currants that does not immediately reveal that 99.5% of the alcohol is missing!

Ingredients: Dealcoholized wine, rectified grape must concentrate, carbon dioxide.

Contains: Sulfites

Close- but it missed the mark for me

This was my 2nd time trying a non-alcoholic wine. I followed the instructions- opening it- letting it breathe and then decanting. While the aroma was close to an actual wine- the taste was still off and I got almost a balsamic flavouring rather than wine. After a glass or so- it felt more like a fruit juice than a wine. I would consider this more for cooking than for drinking.

Fabulous

I wouldn’t know the difference if someone didn’t tell me that this wine was a 0.5% wine. It is simply fabulous. Ps I am a dedicated Pinot Noir fan so this also reflects my wine taste buds. For those who don’t fancy the Pinot Noir grape — you may not be as impressed with the wine as I am😉

We liked it.

Picked this one based on the reviews by others. Liked it a lot. It has density & flavour, a good solid red. This wine was not expensive, & we thought it was an outstanding value.
