ITALIAN

Italian batch #7 has no other wish than to offer tannins, cherries, liquorice and a woody spiciness. Doesn’t taste like a wine, but will replace a medium-bodied red one.

We drink Italian with pizza, carpaccio, and tomato based pastas. Or on its own!

Serve slightly chilled at around 12 degrees C.

To replace a medium-bodied pinot noir (and with “medium body” we still mean body. One that de-alcoholised wines have a hard time to offer.)

FRENCH

Gnista Red French style batch #6 has a perfumed nose, plenty of ripe red berries, and finishes with soft tannins and spice.

Drink on its own or pair with food – we like with matured cheeses and jam, meze or duck/game!

Serve slightly chilled at around 13 degrees C.

Developed together with, and approved by, sommeliers Gnista Red French style opens blushingly with a perfumed nose, plenty of ripe red berries and cola, and a spicy finish.

Lead by the phrase everything allowed as long as the end results kicks ass and contains no more than 0.5% ABV, Gnista Red is NOT de-alcoholised red wine. Instead, it is crafted using similar techniques to those of our spirits (gastronomy and tradition meet food tech). Every ingredient is there for a reason, and the purpose is to deliver a taste sensation made up of tannins, body, earth, tartness, spice and just the perfect (read not too much) sweetness.

We love celebration, nostalgia, and pleasure, and believe in those lasting values in a radically changing world. We know you do too.

Let’s drink to that!

Gnista Red is best described as a mixture of juices, a fermented brew and spice extracts. It doesn’t taste like a red wine, but similar to red wines, the Reds give tannins, complexity and a slight acidity. They are crafted by hand and in small batches in Skåne, Sweden, and they can be enjoyed with or without food.
