RED BLEND

Sovi's Red Blend is Pinot Noir driven style with lots of bright red fruit flavors. While the blend of grapes is complex- with Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, and Petite Sirah- the result is a lighter bodied, easy drinking style.

CHENIN BLANC

Nestled in the Sacramento River Delta, Clarksburg is well known for producing vibrant Chenin Blanc. This wine hails from a single vineyard there. To create complexity, the grapes were picked at different stages of ripeness, including one late season lot that was botrytized. The cooling breezes help to maintain fresh acidity, and warm sunny days allow for even ripening. 

2022 is our second release of Chenin Blanc from Heringer Vineyard. This wine sees an extended aging period in the cellar to develop a creamy texture and nuanced character.

THE WILD CHILD

Crafted from Pinot Gris grapes, this wine derives its soft orange hue from extended skin contact during fermentation, a process that imparts tannins, texture, and complexity to the wine. Known as Ramato style, this method, traditionally used in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, creates a unique copper-colored wine that is both distinctive and whimsical.

Sovi's 2023 Sparkling Orange wine is a first of its kind for NA wine. Their intention is that with each rambunctious, soulful pour, The Wild Child will fling the door open to adventurous, live-in-the-moment memory making and pairing possibilities.

The Free Spirited Red Blend: Multi-vintage, 2022/2023. Blend of Tempranillo, Petite Sirah and Merlot. Fresh & juicy. Notes of black plum, boysenberry & violet.
